The Lighthouse
The old light house stands high on the cliff
overlooking the turbulent sea...
a beacon showing those passing by
where any dangers may be.
It has been there through many
storms,
shining faithfully through each
night.
Regardless of what the weather may
bring,
the lighthouse still beams it’s
light.
Just so, Jesus is our Lighthouse,
guiding us through perilous
“tides”...
leading us around any hidden dangers
...bringing us safely to the other side.
The old lighthouse could possibly
fail
and stop sending forth it’s
light,
but Jesus’ Light will always
shine
...even through our darkest night!
