Jesus Christ Is Risen
 
When the women came to the tomb,
 His Body was no longer there.
They feared someone had taken Him away
 and they knew not where.
 
Behold two angels in shining
garments stood by them and said,
Why do you seek the living ,
here among the dead?
 
It was there in the garden that
the risen Lord  was first  seen,
and that by His good friend and
follower, Mary the Magdalene.
 
The same day in the evening , the door
being shut, He appeared again.
When next He came Thomas  was there
and was shown His wounded Hands .
 
He stayed with them for forty days and
after watching Him ascend to Heaven,
the disciples began to tell all the world that
Jesus Christ is Risen!
