2011_SUSAN'S DAILY DOSE

EASTER

Now that I am older, time

seems so quickly to pass,

but each day is a gift from God

to enjoy as long as it lasts.

Seems only a short time ago

that we celebrated Christmas day,

now Easter is almost here and

I hardly know what to say!

I would like to write something

profound, but where do I begin?

By telling about how Jesus was

crucified and bore all our sins?

Or how those women who came to

annoint Him were being very brave,

but to their delight and wonder

found only an empty grave?

But instead of trying to be

profound, I will simply say,

Jesus died in our place on that cross

and rose again on the Easter Day!
