Today I dedicate my page to my

Mom and Dad who on this day

65 years ago were married.

Congratulations!

Just a little background on them. We lived on a farm,
and I loved growing up on a farm. Some heartfelt memories.
Mom was the typical farm wife always there when we needed
her and always pitching in with all those chores.
Dad worked like a horse. We had those orange tractors - Allis Chalmers.
Always had a beautiful collie dog who was free to roam the acres of farmland.
A huge garden of course and too many kinds of animals to mention.
My folks now reside in a condo just the right fit for them. Both do good.
Mom is in good health and Dad has some health issues and takes kidney
dialysis 3 times a week. Most days are tiring for them, but with a life built on love,
honesty and trust - the years have served them well with many happy and good times.
Both are in their 80's, Dad just celebrated his 88th on the 25th.
If you would like to send a note to them, please do so in my guest book.

Click on the guest book link in the menu at the top of the page.

They can read the comments there.

Thank you!

Thank you for joining me on this special day for my folks.
Many of my friends no longer have one or both of their
parents, so I do feel lucky and blessed to still have both
of them in my life.

Turning cooler here in Ohio, and it has been rainy.
Those silly weather people are even talking about
our first frost within the next week! NO!

Do have a great day - join me again tomorrow as
I bid the month of September good-bye.
Take care, be safe and always aware of
everything and everyone around you.
