  Willows On The Water

Daily Calendar By Lois

September 21, 23, 24—Ember Days
Folklore has it that the weather on each of these three days
foretells the weather for three successive months; that is,
Wednesday, September 21, forecasts the weather for
October; Friday, September 23, for November;
and Saturday, September 24, for December.
See more about Ember Days.

In my mind, as long as you learn something new each day,

you cannot grow old. Aging only happens to people who lose their lust for

getting better and disconnect from their natural base of curiosity.

Robin Sharma, The Greatness Guide

It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to

survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.

Robert H. Schuller

If you cannot lift the load off anothers back,

do not walk away. Try to lighten it.

 Frank Tyger

Keep your faith in all beautiful things;

in the sun when it is hidden,

in the Spring when it is gone.

Roy R. Gilson

True is the sentence we are sometimes told:

A friend is worth far more than bags of gold.

♥ Use a mixture of salt and lemon
 juice to clean piano keys.

♥ To fill plaster holes in your walls, use equal
parts of salt and starch, with just
enough water to make stiff putty.

♥ Rinse a sore eye with
a little salt water.

♥ Mildly salted water makes an effective mouthwash.
Use it hot for a sore throat gargle.

♥ Dry salt sprinkled on your toothbrush
makes a good tooth polisher.

A little something we all need to remember to say,

Thank You!

This is pretty neat.....(30 second video) ...

Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how or it felt awkward?

Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a movement to get the word out.

Please everybody take just a moment to watch..... The Gratitude Campaign; .......and then forward it to your friends! THEN START USING THE SIGN
