Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

When in doubt, just take the next small step.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.
Your friends, parents and pets will. They will always be there.
Stay in touch.

If need be - cry with someone.
It's more healing than crying alone.

Bringing back the

For those of you who have been with me for a while know that I used to
include a new calendar each day, I have had a very kind lady by the name
of Butterfly Lois step forward and offer to make them for me. So, she has been
busy and I will now be offering a new one daily. The day of the weekend will
no longer be pointed out - that way if you want to use the calendar on another
day - no day will be singled out . Over the months I have had some of you email
me asking about them, so here ya go - and newer members, ENJOY!
If you wish to send Lois a note, her address is below, keep it handy or just
click on her logo that I will include daily. Thanks again Lois!

Combine the first 4 ingredients.
Slowly add half of the Mt Dew and mix.

Then slowly add the rest of the Mt Dew and mix.

Peaceful Sapphire

September’s birthstone, the sapphire, was dedicated to Apollo,

perhaps for its heavenly blue color or possibly for its extreme

hardiness, second only to that of the diamond.

St. Jerome insisted that anyone wearing a sapphire

could make peace with his enemies, so, theoretically,

Apollo wouldn’t have needed the gem to wear into battle.

For us mere mortals, the sapphire was supposed to

gain favor with the gods. Pope Innocent III had these

stones set in all of his bishops’ rings. The gem was

considered a safeguard against evil.

Saturday, September 17th, is
