It is good to have an end to journey toward;

Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole
3 pk Refrigerated crescent rolls
2 lb Bulk sausage
2 c Shredded cheddar or jack cheese
1/4 c Grated Parmesan cheese
6 Eggs; reserve 1 yolk
Saute sausage and drain.
Mix with cheeses and eggs.
Line a 9x13-inch pan with
1-1/2 packages of crescent rolls.
Pour in mixture and spread evenly. Top with the
remaining 1-1/2 packages of rolls. Brush top with
egg yolk. Bake in pre-heated oven
at 400 F for about 30 minutes.
Test the freshness of eggs in a cup of salt water;
fresh eggs sink, bad ones float.
AND ........
add a little salt to your boiling water
when cooking eggs; a cracked
egg will stay in its shell this way.
Like my bike? I honestly have taken up bike riding!
I invested in a good bike - it is a lot like they used to
be. It has the wider tires and seat and 7 basic gears,
and simple hand brakes. Nothing fancy, but it suits me
just fine - and it is a purplish-pink color. I want to
add a mirror and of course a basket, just like
I used to have when growing up. I am determined.
I started a riding schedule of 45 min's a day yesterday.
I will hate to see cold weather arrive, but until
then I plan to enjoy the ride in this favorite time of
the year .. and pick it back up in the Spring.
And no I do not deliver papers - ha, ha, but I
used to when I was growing up.
Glad to get some exercise and I find it relaxing.
