Crock Pot Baked Apples 


5 to 6 med. apples, cored & peeled about 1 inch down
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons raisins
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup water

Mix sugar, raisins and cinnamon.

Stuff apples with sugar mixture and dot them

with butter. Pour water into cooker. Add apples.

Cook on low 7 to 8 hours. Yields 5 to 6 servings.

Thank you all for joining me today. My visit back to the ole farm homestead was

really a good walk down memory lane. The house seemed strange as so much remodeling

had been completed and only a few corners looked the same as it once did back

in my growing up days. The barn however remained pretty much the same. Everything

seemed much smaller. I guess when you are growing up - things are much bigger. I have

found out that later in life they become the most important things. It was a blessing

to have both of my parents with me as we remembered back when. I don't

think there is anything better than going "back home" again.

Here is wishing you all a good day, and please join me again tomorrow. Be safe

and always aware of everything and everyone around you.
