forward: to meet the new day, to handle whatever confronts you.
Peace is coupled with courage, now and forever.
Each and every day we have challenges. We also have lessons to learn which means
growing pains. Try and remember that your challenges are gifts to grow on and
that within every problem lies the solution.
You may not always be aware - but we are always being taken care of, right here, right now.
Being mindful, this minute, of what's happening, and only this will lighten anxieties and help
erase all fears. It is true we only struggle when we have moved our sights from the
present moment. Within the now -- lies all peace.
Peach Cake
3 eggs, well beaten
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 cups flour
1 tsp each of salt & cinnamon
2 cups diced canned peaches drained
Confectioners sugar for topping
Heat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients thoroughly by hand.
Pour in greased and floured 9X13 pan. Bake 40 minutes or until
toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle warm cake with confectioners sugar.
Makes approx 12 servings.

Place two or three on a plate to soak up the grease
from fried bacon, french fries, chicken fingers, etc.
