NOTE FROM ME ...
Many days I will receive a note or two that uplifts
my heart and I realize all over again and again that
my many hours and labor of love I take with my Daily
Dose is all well worth it. Below is just one of those notes.
I would like to share some of them on some days
among the pretty flowers.
Thank YOU!

NOTE FROM A READER ....

Susan I turned 70 today, still working and have some issues
that were born out of disobedience to God. So I woke on
this 70th birthday in a funk and was having a pity party.
I read your scripture for today in the Daily Dose
and was
lifted and wanted to stop and say thank you for all you do.
It is a labor of love that is well appreciated.
Cowboy Supper
1 pound Ground beef drained
4 medium Potatoes sliced
2 can (16 oz Pork N' Beans
1/2 large Onion chopped
1/2 large Green pepper chopped
Ketchup to taste
In large skillet, brown ground beef and drain grease. Saute onions and
peppers and add to beef.
Preheat oven to 350. Then, In a large baking dish (I use a 12" X 14"),
coat with pam and layer the ingredients as follows: 1/2 the ground beef
mixture, 1/2 the potatoes, 1 can of beans and as much ketchup as you
want so that you have 2 layers of each ingredient and ketchup on top.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender.
The thinner you slice your potatoes, the quicker it cooks! Enjoy!
***If you want, you can add a little BBQ sauce instead of some of the
Ketchup or BBQ Pork N Beans or even baked beans for quite a different
taste all-together.
***Also you can pre-fry the potatoes in a skillet for faster cook time
and more tender potatoes.
Please always keep in mind I have not tried most
of the recipes I post. I am only sharing what others
have shared with me, thank you!
Each and every day is a training ground laid before us. Every experience
trains us to recognize the value of succeeding. With life's
richness, we all develop one moment at a time.
Self love makes you vulnerable and compassionate towards
others. It's the balm of all wounds; it multiplies as it's
expressed. It can begin with just your smile.
Many of us are presently rebuilding old relationships and also
searching for new ones, ones that we hope we can protect. None of us
can survive well without relationships, some intimate, some close,
some casual. We discover ourselves through our relationships with others.
With each day - look for those chances to give yourself
wholly -- and gifts will abound
Remember, every single experience can uplift you
if anger doesn't weigh you down.
"God is Spirit, and those who worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth."
John 4:24
I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day Weekend. Mine was good with lunch
out with my Mom and Dad. My son is out of town, but Saturday the mailman brought
a nice card and gift card from him and I enjoyed a phone call from him and
my step son as well yesterday -- I hope you all will enjoy today and join
me again tomorrow .... thank you for viewing my pages and I
encourage you to share with friends, family and email groups.
