My page today is in honor of the royal

wedding/marriage of

Prince William and Kate

♫ ♫ ♫

You and I by George Michael

One of my Daily Dose friends was watching George Michael giving an interview on CNN recently and reported to me that he was one of Princess Diana's best friends and he recorded a new version of a Stevie Wonder song for Prince William and Kate for their wedding. She also shared with me the website to download it for free. He did not say how long he would be giving this away but I would imagine it would be at least until they get married. I like she - am feeling sooooooo old, as I watched his parents get married, and remember when both princes were born etc. Time just flies! Here is the link to download the song if you want - it is in MP3 format.

I am almost certain there will be no bloopers in today's

royal wedding, but this one will make

you smile - what a way to begin a life together.

The Royal Wedding Punch Recipe

  • 2 parts Beefeater London Dry Gin
  • 1 part Dubonnet
  • 1 part pomegranate juice
  • 2 parts fresh lemonade (American style)
  • Angostura bitters to taste

Serve in a large punch bowl (if you don’t have a punch bowl,

a large, deep casserole dish will do the job) and garnish with

wheels of lemon & lime, mint sprigs and pomegranate seeds.

Chill the punch with lots of regular ice cubes or make your own

fruit ice cube by freezing oranges and lemon slices with

water in a plastic container (ice cream tub or similar).

Bottoms up!

So much to say. And so much not to say! Some things

are better left unsaid. But so many unsaid things can become a burden.

~~ Virginia Mae Axline

Clearing the air is necessary sometimes, and it freshens all relationships.

Within our quiet spaces, we always know when we must speak up. And the direction

will come. The right moment will present itself. And within those quiet

spaces the right words can be found.

Words are more powerful than perhaps anyone suspects, and once deeply

engraved in a child's mind, they are not easily erased.

~~ May Sarton

Let go of the past and the future. Your reality is here

and now. God's gifts are here, today, right now.

How true it is, and how I long that everyone should know it, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners- and I was the greatest of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as an example to show everyone how patient he is with even the worst sinners, so that others will realize that they, too, can have everlasting life. Glory and honor to God forever and ever. He is the King of the ages, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God, and full of wisdom. Amen.
