And the present has come to teach us over and over again.

While it is a blessing to wait for something awesome just around the corner,

it closes our eyes to the joys of the present moment. Live each moment.

Flowers are food for the soul

Mandarin Orange Upside Down Cake

1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges
1/2 cup coconut
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350. Heat butter in

rectangular 9" x 13" pan, until melted.

Sprinkle brown sugar in pan and then arrange orange slices. Sprinkle
the sugar and oranges with coconut.

Prepare cake mix as directed, stirring in chopped pecans.

Pour into pan and bake 45 - 55 minutes.

Take out of oven and immediately turn over onto cake plate.

And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray." And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled. And he said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch." And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."
