Beans ´n Wiener Biscuit Casserole
The whole family will love this bubbly casserole of hot dog slices
and baked beans topped with biscuit rounds.
1 lb. wieners, sliced
1 (16-oz) can pork and beans, undrained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 (7.5-oz) can Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400. In medium saucepan, combine wieners, pork and
beans, onion, ketchup and brown sugar; mix well. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes. Spoon hot bean mixture into ungreased
8-inch square (2-quart) baking dish.
Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Arrange biscuits over hot bean
mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 400 for 10 to 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden
brown and no longer doughy
