Hello everyone. As you well know I usually include a note at the bottom of my pages, but wanted to jot down my words first thing today. As we reflect back on 2011 and near the end of it - I think of the people who have been a large part of my life - and how they all have impacted my life. They all have been truly wind beneath my wings and that is why that song is playing today. At the top of the list is my husband and family - and a real close second is all of you. The generous and overwhelming donations, notes, email's and entries in my guest book have truly inspired me to continue to do my pages. Thank you all so much. I will need to add one thing to my list above and that is yesterday I received a beautiful vase of fresh flowers delivered right to my door from one of you!! How special, sweet and once again generous and thoughtful. What the giver did not realize is that tomorrow is my birthday - so she had me believing they were from my husband, and needless to say he was wondering who sent me flowers when he seen them upon arriving home from work. So after a little teasing, I told him and he in return was most happy for me and pleasantly surprised along with me. So, thank you all for spending time with me each day and sharing my work. I am blessed and truly fly higher than an eagle with so much encouragement from everyone. Another huge thank you to the person who sent me the flowers and to all of you for everything. Thank you for taking the time to read this ... now on with today's dose.

Flowers are food for the soul
I quote others to better express myself
No tool, in and of itself, has great importance.
But placed in the proper hands it can
create a masterpiece.

I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but
it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks
as though they were great and noble. The world is
moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its
heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny
pushes of each honest worker.

With lavish hand Thou hast spread beauty across the world,
and I know love has planned it all.

You cannot make yourself feel something you do not feel,
but you can make yourself do right
in spite of your feelings.

Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you.
Everything passes away except God; God alone is sufficient.
