Today's
Christmas Rooms
For those not familiar, I am sharing this person's home daily. They sent
pictures thru a group I am in of their home and gave me
permission to share. I recently received another
nice note from them with more pictures! They have some pictures of outside
the home as well as sharing the rooms all cleared out after Christmas.
Talk about night and day! Wheeee .........but,
those will come later - and for now - step into this home and enjoy
the true Christmas spirit and meaning. Thanks for looking.
Italian Garlic Knots
3 to 4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves
1 Teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
1 Can (11 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated original breadsticks
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 Heat oven to 375°F. In small microwavable bowl, microwave garlic, butter and oil on High 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Stir in basil and parsley; set aside. 2 Unroll dough; separate into 12 bread sticks. Twist and tie each bread stick into a “knot-like” ball; place in ungreased 9-inch round cake pan. 3 Spoon butter-herb mixture evenly over top of each knot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. 4 Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
You can replace the fresh herbs with 1/2 teaspoon
each of dried basil leaves and parsley flakes.
Grated Parmesan cheese can also be sprinkled
on the rolls before baking.
Nature gives to every time and season some beauties
of its own; and from morning to night, as from the
cradle to the grave, it is but a succession of changes
so gentle and easy that we can
scarcely mark their progress.
~ Charles Dickens
Have a heart that never hardens,

Let us not forget the reason
for the season of Christmas
Jesus
He came not to a throne, but to a manger.
He lived not as a king, but as a servant.
He chose not a kingdom, but a cross.
He gave not just a little, but everything.

a Christian bookstore, and she grew
up dreaming of being a writer.

- Santa Claus is anyone who loves another
- and seeks to make them happy; who gives
- himself by thought or word or deed in every gift
- that he bestows; who shares his joys with those
- who are sad; whose hand is never closed against
- the needy; whose arm is ever outstretched to aid
- the week; whose sympathy is quick and genuine
- in time of trouble; who recognizes a comrade
- and brother in every man he meets upon life's
- common road; who lives his life throughout
- the entire year in the Christmas spirit.

Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hand,
but let it go, and you learn at once how big
and precious it is.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was good. Had some family time
with a wonderful lunch with my hubby's family at the Buxton Inn and Restaurant
in Granville, Ohio on Saturday.
VISIT BUXTON INN
I attended my granddaughter's cheerleading competition
on Sunday in which their squad came in second in their division.
Our weather was very sunny and cold. A typical Ohio December day.
Have a great day everyone and thank you for stopping by.
Join me again tomorrow. Be safe and always aware
of everything and everyone around you.
