for 20 cents a quart - wow!

Sausage Casserole


1 lb of sausage
1 large onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup rice
2 packages of Lipton chicken noodle soup (1 box)
4 1/2 cup water

Stir sausage until cooked but not over cooked.
Add onion, bell pepper & celery and cook until
tender. In another pot add soup and rice to
the 4 1/2 cup boiling water and boil
for 7 minutes. Mix sausage mixture and soup
mixture in casserole and top with grated cheese.
Bake 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees.
