A smile cost nothing, but gives much.
Ity enriches those who receive, without making
poorer those who give. It takes but
a moment, but the memory of it
sometimes lasts forever.

You give but little when you
give of your possessions.

It is when you give of yourself
that you truly give.

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread,
places to play in and pray in, where nature
may heal and give strength to body and soul.
~John Muir

I love to think of nature as an unlimited

SOMETHING
WORTH VIEWING

For those of you who are familiar - and received her recent note are pleased I am sure that
she will be publishing her pages again -- and for those who did not get her note, and are not
familiar --  it is below. Her name is Ann Telling, and she is the publisher of
Bitts and Bytes.
Her pages are well worth visiting. Full of information, good music and all kinds of history and things to learn. Her photos
are outstanding to say the least. All information you should need is included in the links below. I hope you will join her next month for brand new pages. Please, any questions, contact Ann. Now here is her note, thank you.

Dear Bitts and Bytes Readers:

Well, my sabbatical/hiatus is about to end, so I will start making new Bitts and Bytes website pages beginning in November.

In the meantime, instead of creating new Halloween pages for October 2011, I am sending you the pages made in 2010.  I will begin with the group below and continue with the remaining pages starting on the 18th.

You can also proceed directly to the Bitts and Bytes index page to access the pages.

In preparation for starting my new series of pages, I went back and reviewed all my old pages since MARCH 2010.  I discovered, much to my dismay, that the HTML tag for the music was not playing the music properly for a number of pages.  That tag has now been fixed and the music should be playing correctly.

I hope you take the opportunity to review these old pages as your time permits.  If you put the Bitts and Bytes address in your "Favorites" or make a shortcut for it on your desktop, you can go there at your leisure.  There is a lot of good material and great music on these pages that I hope you all have enjoyed or will take the time to enjoy.

Here is the address for the Bitts and Bytes index page:

Here are the pages I mentioned above.  Oh, yes, and the story of our visiting black bear last year is included in these pages.

Happy viewing and I look forward to sending you the links to new pages in November.

Now! next I would like to mention my friend Sal. Again, some of you might be familiar, some not. She is the person who introduced me to my website host one year ago this past August. Her friendship has been dear to me and she has been more help and supplied me with much needed information and patience to help me get my website established. Without her I would have been lost in many areas.
Again, a wonderful place to visit
with wonderful graphics, music and well - a lot of nice misc things, too many to make mention. You can sign up to receive her mailing. There is a short form to fill out. If you have any questions, please use the link below to find your way around. She is in the process of rebuilding her site and I am sure
it promises to be even better. She is very good at keeping one informed of her progress. Again, please contact her for any questions.

Here is the link to the new site:
