I have a clear choice between life and death, between
reality and fantasy, between health and sickness. I
have to become responsible -- responsible for mistakes
as well as accomplishments.
Look to each moment with child-like eyes.
It is then you will find joy and contentment.
CAKE MIX OATMEAL COOKIES
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 (2 layer size) cake mix, I used Butter Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place walnuts and oatmeal in a blender,
grind fine. Thoroughly mix walnuts/oatmeal mixture with chocolate
chips and softened butter. Beat in egg, milk, and cake mix. Dough
will be stiff.
Drop onto cookie sheet by teaspoons. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until
done (tops should be soft to touch). Remove from oven and cool for a
few minutes before removing to cooling racks. Makes approximately 3
dozen cookies.
NOTE:
