" Crying In The Rain "

Whether we are poets or parents or teachers or artists or

gardeners, we must start where we are and use what

we have. In the process of creation and relationship, what seems

mundane and trivial may show itself to be

holy, precious and part of a pattern.

~ Luci Shaw

We turn not older with years,

but newer every day.

~ Emily Dickinson

Love comes when we take the time

to understand and care for

another person.

~ Janette Oke

Crockpot Ham

1/2 cup (4 ounces) sweetened tea

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
2-3 tablespoons ketchup
1 picnic shoulder (small enough to fit in crock pot)

Mix all ingredients, except shoulder. Put ham in crock pot (skin-side-up)

and cover with tea mixture. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour, then cook

on LOW all night. Ham will be so tender you can pull it apart with a fork.
